How to Draw a Person's Back

Difficult! That is the word to describe the task of sketching a person's back if you've mostly been keen on only drawing figures from the front (in which case, who can blame you?) But sometimes you'll need another angle to showcase your designs on paper, and will need to know how to do this (for instance - you've designed a pair of jeans with special stitching on the back pockets, or a dress with an elaborate back). Start off, as per usual, with your basic shapes for the stick figure - using circles, ovals and lines.
